Subject: Problem running hydraulic pumps/motors on 8000 series Deere tractor

Does anyone else have problems with the SCV outlets surging when running a hydraulic motor. On my pull type sprayer, the hydraulic hoses jump periodically when running the pump and I can see the pressure gauge on the sprayer jump also when it does this. It is hard on the pump as the the impeller has to suddenly change speeds and I have sheared the key several times. My dealer says that there is not enough to sense the load on a hydraulic pump and is the reason for surging. It does it on both of my 8000 series tractors. I see the hoses jump about every 30 seconds or so and if you are outside you can hear the pump changing speeds. Seems worse when the oil is hot. Don't notice so much when I first start it up.
