i would really like to work off farm for yr then see if i would llike to come back but there is now way father in law could do it all, one of the herds would have to go. Thats another thing mother in law had fatal accident on 4 wheeler checking cows, and ever scene then i have alway questioned if farming is worth it, working 14-18 hr days sometimes, and for what just to be debt and not be able to do stuff that this coutry provides you to do with family, i feel like im missing out on living life to much, so i dont know
Don't mean to be rude but it sounds like your mind is already made up.... Each generation wants more of everything... Time with family is one thing a person shouldn't be ashamed of but try to work them into your schedule when your in your tractor or combine... ETA: I guess I'm wondering what your wife and kids are off doing that is driving you crazy? It is a family farm is it not? Even if you get a 9-5 job will your wife be doing the same or still of running around?
