| We have had it on 5 or 6 vehicles. y wife wouldn't be without it. Only time we couldn't get reception was when we were in the mountains of NC, then only when the road was against the mountainside. Go around a curve & be on the other side & would have reception. We're in a poor cell phine area & if I can't get her on her cell phone I have always been able to get her on the suburban phone. Easiest way to get directions is to push the button & tell them where you want to go & they will program it in for you. Trying to program it in yourself is a PITA. JMO, but better than it use to be. I've had my Garmin get me lost but not the onstar. Daughter bought a new Traverse in Jan '15. Within 1,500 miles the engine went bad & left her & our 7 yr old granddaughter standed along the I-state. One push of the button & On-start had help there within 10 minutes tops. | |
