Try increasing the PWM gain in 10% intervals.

You can measure the responsiveness of rate changes with the drive running at a manual ground speed, and switching between rate 1 and rate 2.

For example, if I want to test the planter response if I suddenly drop to half speed, set rate 2 to half the population. Pressing the rate 2 button then lets you see how quickly the drive cuts to half speed, and also going back to rate 1 shows how quickly it gets back up to full speed.
