Subject: Follow up to NW Iowa question

W.C. Mo.
Was raining in Sioux City this morning with rough weather to the west so we turned around and headed east and south. Took highway 20 east then 59 south. Interesting country. Lots of soggy planted corn fields.
My question is how do you guys keep those steep worked fields from washing down the slopes???? If we tried anything like that HERE we would have 4 ft deep ditches everywhere. I know there was substantial rain this morning and earlier because the lower fields had water standing on them and the ditches were running yet few washouts on those steep slopes.
