Washington Co Ks | That's a big part of the problem. We live in an area of declining population with few young guys so the boards are often made up of older men. I was on a board for twenty some years and it was always like pulling teeth to get some of the others to understand that we are out of the horse and buggy days and they aren't coming back. One thing I did notice was that the concrete trucks had three axels under the truck and a set of wheels that they could let down on the back. On the highway they had them all down but when they turned off onto the gravel they lifted the front axel and the one on the back. | |
