Among everything else stated, it can get very expensive to set a new or even used setup. You need safety water tanks. You need an emergency plan.

If applying your own, you will want more than one tank as the wait will be too long to refill. You need a pump on your main tank to fill your small tanks. Nh3 equipment, hoses and valves can get real pricy quick.

With both our larger rigs, we can go through 2 - 1000 singles an hour. During side dressing it takes one guy all day to keep tanks to me.

Remember, it can also kill real easily if not treated with respect. There was a post a month or two ago on here about a guy who injured himself pretty severely by having a hose break I believe. It's not like 28 or 32 that is manageable and easier to clean up.

We use it, but I doubt we would go to all the trouble and expense to set up a system now.
