No, between the rain then snow you have a lot of BTU's there and insulation.

Edit: You will be able to tell by pulling apart one of the heads down inside the boot. Inside each kernel to be there will be one-three little tillers. (About 2mm long) if they are green/ white your safe. If brown any kernels that have started to form wont produce seed but more might come if its still early in the life cycle.
