Subject: Pros and Cons of (Tillage or Nitro) Radishes -cover crop

South-central Nebraska
I did a search on Tillage and Nitro Radishes. Can you effectively aerial apply them into standing irrigated corn? I want to start simple with a cover crop and have something that I don't need to kill in the spring. I'd like to be able to move nutrients in the soil profile and break compaction with the radish. I don't know much about any cover crops other than they are not widely used around here. I've always been interested in the tillage radish. I have hand broadcast some seed on some hard areas by corn field driveways in late summer only to see them get to the size of a pencil if grow at all.
