| Networking over power lines has been around for a decade or more, and is constantly improving.
Reader's Digest version - At your point of presence from the ISP, have a wireless router to cover your home. Then, plug in a special powerline networking appliance to your 110v wall outlet, and plug the network cable into one of the ports on the wireless router.
Then, go to your shop, machine shed, near the grain dryer, plug in another powerline appliance to the 110v outlet there. Viola! You have wireless access to your internet!
This article explains more. I have no recent experience with these devices, so I am not going to make a recommendation as to which to buy.
