If you do another survey of the same field but name it another in the FMX, then overlay the two topos, the lines will not be the same either as the lines are drawn by averaging data collected. Unless the data is collected in the same spot, it will vary some.

pretty darned close! I actually think the Lidar data in my example is more accurate as it was recorded in 2 foot intervals where I recorded 10' intervals with 50' swaths.
