| Prolapses are easy to fix and unfortunately just part of it. All you need is 1/8" surgical tape, big curved needle, and about two minutes to make a nice permanent repair. They are not that big deal when handled promptly. My only comment is that once those club lamb rejects are properly finished for slaughter, they usually top the auction market around here. I'd guess feed efficiency on them even as "show sheep genetics" is still as good and usually better than your average white faced maternal type lambs. The difference is that that white face lambs are usually smaller framed and technically finish at 110-130 max weight. Most any black face lamb, club lamb rejects included, can finish at 140 to 150 pretty easy. Of course most of this industry finds it easier to ship fat than meat so maybe it doesn't matter
