| One way to look at it is opportunity cost. Can hiring it out save you enough time to do more profitable things? Or better manage what you have? Not that I agree with it but some guys around here hire out spraying and fertilizing so they have time to farm an extra twenty quarters I guess. I don't agree with that thinking much but it's how some people look at it. I'd have twice the hogs if I hired the feed done....but I don't trust their work. | |
