Butterfield, MN | It's possible that the solenoids could both be bad, but that seems kind of unlikely. How do the connectors look? Are they clean or full of corrosion? If you can engage it and it shows that it's in line acquire mode, that means that the disengage switch is still good and making connection. You should be able to check for 12 volts between pins 1 and 2 on the left or right connection down at the valve while someone is in the diagnostic screen of the long box holding the arrow of the same direction. If that's not showing up, it looks like it could be a cable or connector issue. If it does, it looks like it's a valve issue. You could also source 12 volts and ground from somewhere else and connect those to pins 1 and 2 on either of the coils on the valve block and see if it will steer one direction or the other. Check through the plumbing to make sure it's all hooked up right? | |
