Minneota, MN | Do not waste time with Windows 8.1 when 10 is available! Win 10 is much easier to use and understand than Win 8.1. I've been on Win 10 since it was released and it works great.
When I went from Win 8 to Win 8.1, Windows tossed my pdf viewers away and defaulted to a Windows viewer (yuck). I had to reinstall my Chrome pdf viewer.
Upgrade to Win 10 and see if it works. Otherwise you may need to reiterate stall the specific pdf viewer for Sms. Good luck!
