Coastal South Carolina | I have had first hand experience with this in the last year.
I have disability insurance through my public job. Last May I broke my leg in the ankle in two places. I was out of work for 12 weeks. Upon the Dr. completing the paperwork I was paid for 11 of those weeks. Granted it was a reduced salary, but having it made life much easier.
If I did not have it through work, I would give it serious consideration. Depending on your situation it can be the difference between making it and not. | |
