Your Internet Explorer favourites are still there. Windows 10 defaults to the new Edge browser. I'm sure it's fine for some, but I don't use it. It doesn't have compatibility with some older technologies that I still need for work. Anyway, hit the Windows button, then All Apps. Then scroll to the W section. Open Windows Accessories to see Internet Explorer. So that you don't have to do that again, right click Internet Explorer and choose Pin to Task bar. Now, you can open it with one click from now on. Oh, I'm running Windows 10 on a laptop and Windows 7 on a desktop for work. I'm looking forward to ditching Windows 7 once a couple utilities are upgraded to be compatible. It was a great operating system, but so far I like Windows 10 better. I spent a few hours just poking and prodding it to find ways to make it look and work the way I like (I spent the same time when I moved from XP to Windows 7). |
