Western Iowa | Bought a tractor last month, out of my normal area because I wanted a model I couldn't find locally.
Got it in the field last week and had an issue. Called salesman, and shop manager called the next day. As we were discussing the issue, I mentioned how I was a little disappointed on the service they did to 'have it ready' for the field. I don't think it saw a thing other than the power washer. Nothing greased, no filter changes, ect.
Since I am new to 4wd tractors, I noticed after it was home that the tranny filter was painted green yet. Mind you this tractor has a little over 1000 hours on it. I gave the service manager grief about that.
Service manager then told me that it wasn't the factory filter. He said they have green painted filters they install for the 1st service and I was worried about nothing.
Any one else see these green filters?
My BS meter is pegged....... what says NAT?
