Subject: Saving family truck from a Fencrow...update... First engine start video!!

Holly Island, AR
It finally happened ya'll!! Finally today finished wiring everything up, hooked up some gas, and we have life in the ole Flathead. No adjustments made yet, I simply bolted the distributor on at TDC and it ran like this! I did idle it down in the second video link.. Love the way this old baby sounds! It's ready to haul some wheat or some cotton to the gin! My grandfather wanted to see this decades ago, I wish he were here to see it! Still got a lot of work left to get it finished, but on schedule to have it ready for the Labor Day festivities we have here locally! Just got to work on it in between the farming, it will get harder once May and June get here, it will be almost impossible actually, so going to do what I can in the next few weeks! I thank all of you guys on here for the kind words and support, I appreciate it! This has been a labor of love, in honor of my grandfather, and my great grandfather Pop Palmer. I have had a lot of fun working with this project, it's not everyday you get to save a piece of family/farm history!
