Subject: RE: Westfield drill fill auger?

Eastern Washington
I've had one for about 8 years now, it's about worn out. We put a diverter valve in the truck hydraulics to run it. Biggest problems have been the hinge joint. I would like to see heavier pipe on the auger so the hinge would be more stable. The joint seems to get out of line easy so the auger drive fingers don't line up right and get bound up. I'm not sure of the make but I've seen one that looks a lot like the Westfield but has a bigger auger and a hydraulic cylinder to raise the auger, if anyone knows what kind they are let me know please, I've got to get a new one this fall. Thanks
