SESD | So, I'm trying to get a better handle and trim the fat on the family living. Haven't been wild, but haven't kept a close eye on it either the last several years. What do you all think is a reasonable income per year or month for a family with 5 children? Between health insurance and deductibles and dentist and etc , vehicle maintenance and insurance and fuel, electric, water, phone and tv and internet, house fuel, and life insurance I'm already over 3500/mo. How do you fit food, household goods, clothing, gifts, charity, entertainment, emergency, kid activities, house repair etc into a reasonable budget. I was wanting to stay under 60k, but that looks unreasonable. I realize there are some smaller things in there that aren't "necessity", but that's a very small portion. No vehicle payments/upgrade, no house payments/upgrade included. Set me straight. Am I extravagant? Or is this just reality and tough times are coming if things don't straighten out.
Lets have a good conversation about it. Not a bunch of bashing. | |
