Subject: Internet Speeds - What's considered fast compared to what I have now ?

central - east central Minnesota -

Currently, Windstream (worst company in the world for service) - has a down load speed (off speed tester), of 0.71mbps.

There is a point to point wireless, independent company, offering a starting point of 5.0 mbps and can choose several other options, up to 50.0 mbps (more money of course). (they offer up loads and downloads at the same speeds)

So, how much faster is 5.0 mbps over what I have now (0.71 mbps) ?

Currently, at our windstream connection, netflex and youtube spend more time buffering then playing . .. . .

Will 5.0 mbps allow streaming with no black outs (or what ever it's called) while buffer ?

TIA !
