West Central IL | A similar situation happened here. Farmer died, son was to take over operation. I think between the passing and the funeral someone contacted one of their landlords and offered them more for their farm than they were getting from the deceased. The landlord gave the son a chance, but he couldn't pencil out the rent, and he's also a salesman at a co-op. So hopefully Karma will get this guy for paying the high priced rent since the prices have crashed since. | |
