NC Indiana
Mom and Dad's house is an 1882-5ish built T shaped 2 story with lean to type additions off the back and front of the leg. 24 ft studs, single pain 72"x16-18" windows, and no insulation when we moved in in February of '87. We insulated it and put up dry wall, and in the last few years they've put in new insulated windows, but there still isn't heat upstairs. It wasn't uncommon to wake up with a bit of frost on your covers and you had to watch the steps as they are very steep and they would have frost on them too.
