western Wisconsin | I have a field right above my caving pasture that I started bale grazing before the snow got deep this winter and I will continue this spring as soon as I can. I want to seed it down to hay but I don't think that I will get it all covered bale grazing. I had thought about sorgum-sudan or sudan grass and graze it off a couple of time this summer. What is a better crop for grazing? I planted some sorgum sudan last year and thought the cows had almost killed it off grazing it ; but it came back better than ever. just wondering if sudan grass would be better. | |
