The 4 bulls here and 3 I might keep for replacements. Bulls are all easygoing and will follow you anywhere.

Senepol. Registered. Low bw. Bought to put on heifers. Then moved all cattle to one place.

Brangus. My ex partners. He sold his cows. Doesn't have a place to keep his bull right now. High maintenance. Falls apart on grass. Attracts flies, gets pinkeye. Nice calves. He should leave this spring.

Black bull. First bull I bought with 4 cows. Low BW. Nothing great about him. Calves grow well, but not well muscled.

Charolais. Bought from a guy that had the bull, a heifer, and a charx calf. I only got 2 calves from last year breeding season. I think the bigger bulls may push him around when it's time to work. Nice calves though. Probably should sell on Craigslist with a sperms test.

Calves
3/4 beef master 1/4 red angus. Cow is beefmaster from a herd liquidation sale. I've actually found his sire 50/50 bm:ra the guy might sell him to me this summer. He is shaped like a square, short and muscular.

Hulk AI calf from one of my bigger cows 1300# or so. Definitely has the high growth of his sire.

King Pin AI calf from a smaller cow. Maybe 1100# or less.

So I know the brangus goes, probably try to sell the charolais in summer.

I don't know anything about bull development. So we will see what shakes out. I have about 80 breeding females this winter. Open to your comments and suggestions. Just a beginner starting out at the top of the cattle cycle and a $50k line of credit and sweat equity to get it done.
