Gatorade NO,  Need glucose, not sucrose.  Will do more harm than good!

Buy a properly formulated calf electrolyte like Resorb and many others....

(Sounds like this calf's main problem was no food.  So his main need is food.  If it consumes high quality milk (preferably colostrum) that will also correct its dehydration problem.  So just keep getting this high quality food into him i.e. between feedings give more feed (high quality milk)!!   Sounds like it is definitely not to the point of over-consuming yet.  Don't complicate the process with some crappy Gatorade.  If it is going to swallow something, it should be a swallow of colostrum....)

Then get a tube and learn how to use it for the next episode....there will be more!  Good luck
