Sawdust is nice to work with, but you have to watch it in manure. Large amounts spread will burn up nitrogen in soils. And certain woods are worse than others. Sours the soil we say around here. I still use it, but just in smaller amounts to what I used to. its harder to get around here now anyways as they burn it for bio fuel.
