SD | I am putting a bid on some 500-1000 acres of lease ground. What guidelines do most of you use for a bid? Do you have a lawyer help write one up to protect yourselves?
It's not only the bid amount I'm assuming most landlords look at, but how you can maintain the road right of ways, farming methods, educational and professional background, bank or financial reference(s) and many other things. I know there's landlords looking for top dollar, but the way I look at it, if that's all they value someone else can farm it.
