Cedar Rapids, Iowa | Just looked into this. Seems they have released firmware version 3.71 for the 252. Release notes are here:
A firmware upgrade has been created for Trimble GPS receivers using "Buffalo" firmware version 3.70.
- Trimble receivers using 3.70 as of February 14, 2016 will experience erratic and unreliable behaviour for time and date reporting from the receiver.
- This will affect such functions as: display time and date reporting, NMEA output, subscription licensing, and third-party data reporting.
- Firmware version 3.71 for all buffalo receivers corrects this Time and Date algorithm.
