Subject: RE: Labor Required to swap Engine?

Iowa
There is a 99 Pete 379 daycab on truck paper for $20k with 1,170,000 miles and an N14. Truck+Used Motor+Labor+Paint Job=??? In my mind you probably end up pretty close on dollars but a few less miles on the truck and half the miles on the motor. That is worth something to me. That would be something I would love to find close to me and do the work myself but just get quotes on the work and add 10-20% for a little cushion and don't forget about the small stuff like should we do a clutch while its out? Pull the pan and look at the bottom end and replace main seals? Ect ect. Just my two cents FWIW hope it helps!
