OK Panhandle | Just depends on what kind of data you want. If you want evapotranspiration measurements, you will have to get the solar radiation sensor. If you want to get just the base package to start out, you can add the UV and solar radiation sensors at a later date. Just takes the sensor mounting shelf, the sensors you want, and a little time to plug them into the marked spots on the control board.
Also, the Vantage Pro stations are the predecessors to the Vantage Pro2. Any new station you purchase should be a Vantage Pro2. If the UV and solar radiation sensors are included, it will be called a Vantage Pro2 Plus. | |
