Subject: Soil Test

Southern MD
Just got some soil tests back. Almost all my soybean ground is calling for 0.8 tons of lime. Ph 5.9-6.1. Fert recommendations are calling for average of 15-30-100. 40-50 bushel yield goal. High Cal lime is gonna cost me around $45/ton spread. i will prob go ahead and put on 1/ton per acre. Will skipping fert this year kill me or should I try to get out about 50lbs plant food/ac of potash. That would cost me about $20/ac. Trying to keep both bean and corn fert at around $1/bu cost of production. TIA
