Plan B1 is where a healthy soil microbial community really shines. Mycorrhizal fungi will extend their filaments over several square feet in a healthy no-till environment and will pick up and distribute nutrients throughout their system. They are actually much more effective at nutrient gathering than plant roots by themselves.
