Subject: Susquehanna River

Northeastern Pa.
I just read where the North branch of the Susquehanna River was named Pa. river of the year. Hmm pollution must be under control up here in these hills. I got the notice yesterday about the voluntary on line and paper conservation practices survey coming to us. When the surveys are done 10% are going to be picked for an on farm visit if farmer ok's the visit. I can see where this is headed. Wonder if the county conservation office will pick the visits in their area. What % of the surveys will go in the circular file or never be done on line ? I wonder if any towns, cities or factories will have such surveys done. I have seen some strange colored water south of a large factory in our area when the river level is high. Hmmm
