I always thought the share crop agreements were that the landlord gets the% (33%), and doesn't pay for any inputs. Also, there is the 50/50 where both parties split inputs. The numbers just don't work out in 120 bu corn/ 35 bu bean land. Cash rent is far less.

What we crop share the LL pays 1/3 of the chem and fert. Billed straight to him, and he does his own marketing as well. If it gets slow in line and we have to bin it, he just wants weight from the cart scale so he knows what he has there until we get it out. Pretty much hassle free and painless.
