In my contract, I pay for 1/2 the seed, fertilizer, and chemicals, I pay the land taxes and protect the crop from the pipe line companies, my tenant does the work, pays for the machinery, the other half the seed, fertilizer, and chemicals, and delivers the crop to the nearest elevator. He strip tills. Neither of us has crop insurance.
