Southern MN | My guess is that you started nothing, the thoughts of retiring, renting it out, when they would do it, and to whom, has probably been on their minds for quite some time. Those are big decisions, not one that a person makes in 20 days. The wife probably didn't want to reveal their plans with you in your initial conversation for whatever reason, and was being polite by listening to your offer. Asking you to write it up though I don't understand.
I would be grateful to have received a letter and given the chance to farm it. | |
