Mid Michigan | I think you might as well pay out of pocket. The only reason I have dental insurance is because we have it as a benefit at work. I have Delta Dental. If I had to pay the premium to have the dental insurance I think it would be about the same cost as if I paid out of pocket. Having dental insurance sure doesn't mean a free trip to the dentist. I've gone a few times in the last 6 months for minor touch ups on a couple fillings and a cleaning and it cost me over $300 out of pocket so far for the three minor trips. I've learned you get the small things taken care of before they turn into big things. That's when it gets expensive and painful. That said I can't believe how many people walking around in the public have horrendous teeth. Like they've never been to the dentist in their entire lives. It's a booming industry with unlimited potential. | |
