NE Nebraska | I had the Lasik a little over 10 years ago. Had been very nearsighted with astigmatism. Unlike cornstalk I would not have been able to see a movie later that night, or the next, or the next.
My eyes literally felt like they'd had surgery and needed time to heal.
I was able to "get by" without glasses for a few years, I'm now back to needing them. During those few years w/o glasses, it was never 20/20 clear like I'd previous had with glasses.
I'm glad I had it done because now I can see well enough to do things or drive in an emergency w/o glasses (driving would be illegal tho because I do need them for the vision test)
I'm 59 and no longer a candidate for additional lasik due to dry eye and beginnings of a cataract, so if you're thinking of having it done, realize your situation could change in the future. | |
