S.C. Wisconsin | When I was farming full time once in a while we would take some time off and visit my parents in southern Texas in Rio Grande valley. I also went to Ontario fishing, and some long weekend trips camping with the kids. I strongly recommend people to do some traveling when young. I know some at retirement age people who never went anywhere because they are uncomfortable traveling all of their life. They have a mundane retirement now. Just for a joke being a dairy farmer I compare them to an old cow who spent her whole life in one stall! There are a lot of interesting things and people to see out there, but you have to make it happen. But each to their own. | |
