south central MN | That would have been a sign of a bad school that you experienced Cross Country. My first class we ran 10 laps around the gym, did push-ups on our knuckles, stood in a straight line, learned to bow and address the instructor and other Black Belts as ma'am and sir. Also fellow students are addressed as Mr Or Miss followed by their first name. Then we learned the three basic kicks.
