North central, IA | I would guess she might find the people in the bigger town to be the same as the people in the smaller town. They probably are also rude and have their noses in the air.
There was a couple who were considering moving to a new town. They asked one of the locals what people were like around there. He asked what people were like in their previous town. When they answered the people there were mean, grumpy, unfriendly and difficult, he said the people here are like that too.
Another couple was also considering moving to town. They asked the same local the same question and he replied with the same question. When they said the people in their old town were very nice, friendly, helpful, and good natured, he said people here are like that too. | |
