NW Iowa | I'm in the process of rebuilding a 12 row 1760 planter. Going to do openers, chains, sprockets, meter components, etc. Will be about $6,000 worth of parts if I get it all from Deere according to JD Parts. I'd prefer to get it all from my local Deere dealer, but the parts guy I talked to said they usually don't have any parts deals or sales, just have to pay whatever list price is.
Do any other Deere dealers have special parts sales prior to spring field work? Is my dealer missing the boat, I thought they used to have parts specials prior to spring field work. Should I check around at other dealers? I'd like to stay with Deere parts instead of ordering from Shoup or similar places. Thanks. | |
