Subject: Some pics of Mark Twain Lake flooding.

This is looking at the tailwater going out of the Dam.

This is currently at 24,000 cu. ft/Second.  They are going to raise it to 40,000 cu. ft/Second as soon as they get this earth work done to try to protect the power station.  Today there is over 54,000 cu ft/second estimated coming in and the lake is already higher than in '93.  It went up 12 ft in 72 hrs.

Here's a picture from away showing the floodgates and the lake in the background.  Normally there's a huge band of rock around the lake.  The bathrooms at Spalding beach are up to the soffits.

For those familiar with the area.  Here's a picture of Blackjack Marina.  Normally you walk Waaayyyyy down to get there, in fact, there's a lower parking lot under water.  Not today.
