I don't recomend using the gates that you can buy at Farm & Fleet & similiar places, they are nearly as heavy as what is in a dump trailer. Are there any truck or trailer repair shops in your area? If so check with them, they should be able to head you in the right direction. Another alternative would be finding a wrecked trailer & buying the whole tailgate out of it or calling the manufacturer of your trailer.
