Back in the days of 1218 and then 444/445 I counted on making mostly 1250 or better. Would have a few fields that would make 1100-1150 for some reason but would have some make 1300-1700.
Those varities went away and I never had consistent yields again. From 900 to 1800 but overall less average and never the consistency.
Didn't plant any dryland.
That makes 800-1000 with an occasional 200 to 1200 so I just planted all irrigated except for small pivot corners. If they were big corners I'd plant them in beans.
For the first year since 1988 I had no cotton this year.

By 444 I mean the old delta pine 444. I didn't know there was a new one.
