Missed me by about 30 miles as I live on hwy 37. I've done middle of the field also can't say I noticed any killed alfalfa, only the strip the bales sit on. Maybe because we are a colder climate and the alfalfa is dormant we don't see as much killed from wheel traffic. If it is dry setting the bales in the middle of the field, on a hill makes a nice snow fence, keeps a little moisture on the field.
