NCIA | Yes Jed there aren't many independent guys left. We are. Most guys contract feed or have rented there barns out. I would be open to renting out but I do not care to feed for someone. If I am doing all the work I might as well get all the profit... Ha when there is any. I guess I just like being my own boss. As for selling we signed a "chain space" contract years ago with Tyson. Guarantees us a place to go. The day will come where we test that. They told us a year ago if we wished to bring any more than our contract they could not take them. The buyer contacts us now and then to see how many we plan to market for the year. Lack of kill space will eliminate the few independents that are left. | |
