BC, Canada | Started feeding Friday 4:30pm after a week of milking shifts, didn't go very well. Went to open the door and unload the first of 5 loads, heard 2 bangs and said to myself, that's a new sound. Jumped off to find the door bananaed and out of the slides.
Called the manufacturer as they are built 20 minutes away, didn't have a door but had a loaner ready in 10 minutes. It was dark already and so I said I'd come pick it up Saturday am if that worked. Borrowed my cousins mixer wagon to feed Friday pm and Saturday am.
It was pretty chilly Saturday for us. Nothing compared to what most of you other guys deal with.
Big shout out to Rick at Loewen welding and manufacturing in Matsqui. Always going above and beyond to keep mixers and manure tanks running.
